Erik Rhoads entered my college composition course after having earned the equivalent of both a Master’s degree and a Ph.D. in real world cooking. After years mastering the skills of turning ingredients into nourishing moments of memorable pleasure, he shifted his eye toward a degree/certificate in Horticulture so he could be an even more well-rounded chef. A personable and natural leader, he was entrusted with the design and assembly of a hydroponic garden tower that he and his fellow students turned into a fully functioning garden where all manner of fresh produce blossomed. It has been a delight to watch Erik flourish in his career by finishing his degree and then moving on to become the head chef at Corvallis Oregon’s premiere gourmet pizza and delicacies restaurant Fireworks. Ever the scrappy entrepreneur, Erik has decided to make the lives of people isolating in place due to the Covid-19 crisis a little easier, more exciting, and delicious by bringing his masterpieces safely into the kitchens of his clients. He’s a brilliant chef who delivers an excellent and refreshing night out on the town into the comfort of your very own home. I strongly recommend his services and know that he can make for you at home dishes better than you might encounter were you able to go out.
